Rabbi Linda Holtzman: Fasting for Immigrant Justice

Rabbi Linda recounts:

When I was a little girl, I learned that my grandmother’s brothers and sisters were all killed by the Nazis because they did not leave Poland early enough, and when they knew that their lives were in jeopardy, they could not leave. There was nowhere for them to go. Today, there are so many who simply need a place to go so they can live.
