Civil disobedience! 9 New Sanctuary Movement members were arrested on July 31, 2014 at the White House to protest mass deportation. We joined 112 immigrants and clergy in the arrests, and everyone was safely released.

On November 26, 2013, New Sanctuary Movement held an “un-Thanksgiving” dinner outside of Philadelphia’s City Hall. While there’s still deportation, we say: no THANKS no GIVING! 

On October 5, Philadelphia joined 180 other cities in the national day for immigrant dignity and respect. We rallied at Love Park and marched to the ICE building where we demanded an immediate end to deportations.
